Steve visits the Thanet Animal Group Pet Rescue Centre

Last Friday Steve met the volunteers at the Thanet Animal Group Pet Rescue Centre. The animal shelter amounts to a ‘foster home’ for rabbits, cats, guinea pigs and even chipmunks whilst they await new homes.

The Centre was tidy, efficient and friendly, and reminded me how important volunteers are to our community. These people take there own time to provide a valuable service and are real heroes.
