Here are some of the most recent statistics about the South East Coast Primary Care Trust, of which South Thanet is a part. As you can see, significant and sustained
increases in health spending by the Labour Government has yielded real results.
Since 1997 the Trust has gained over 400 GP's, 600 Consultants, over 3000 nurses and 300 midwives.
Waiting times have also been slashed. In 1997 over 30,000 people has to wait more than 26 weeks for inpatient treatment. Today nobody does.
