Steve attends Newington Junior School opening.

Stephen Ladyman has attended the opening of the new Newington Junior Foundation School in Ramsgate, built under the Schools for the future scheme. The school was opened by Ian Johnson, Head of the fantastic new Marlowe Acadamy.

The new School is a two form entry primary school with an attached nursery with 52 places. The new amalgamation will bring substantial benefits for the children of the Newington area, with the Continuity provided by an all through primary school.

Building Schools for the furure is the biggest single government investment in improving school buildings for over 50 years. The aim is to rebuild or renew every every secondary school in England over a 10 to 15 year period.
