Steve attends Chemistry Day at Pfizer

Steve recently attended the 'Creating Chemistry' event held at Pfizer for students from local schools.

Chemistry : the Next Generation is an initiative funded by HEFCE and managed by the Royal Society of Chemistry, to inspire and motivate school students to study chemistry and the chemical sciences further.

Steve joined in with some of the experiments, and emphasised the importance of young people considering doing science at A-level and Uni. He said;

"It is important that we produce scientists to maintain our prosperity and help find solutions to the problems that face our society like climate change, it is rewarding and most of all because it is fun."
